What Should I Do Before Bringing My iPhone In For Repair?

Back up your data

Please make sure you back up the data on your iPhone — either on your computer or using iCloud.

Turn Off Find my iPhone

To service your iOS device, Find My iPhone will need to be temporarily turned off. In order to turn off Find My iPhone, you must know your Apple ID and Password.

Update your software

Many issues can be resolved by updating the software on your iPhone. If you're using iOS 5 or later, you can update over Wi-Fi or by connecting to iTunes on your Mac or PC.

Make an appointment

You can now make an appointment with us via Apple's support page. Please click the link below and follow the appropriate repair path for the device you wish to get repaired.

How Long Will My Repair Take?

iPhone 6s or newer models

Most repairs will take between 2 to 6 hours to complete. However based on the diagnostic results under some circumstances we may need to send your iPhone to the Apple Repair Centre located in Sydney. If this is the case it will normally be between 5 to 10 business days. 

iPhone 6 or older models

For battery replacements we normally need the phone for between 2 to 6 hours. For other repair requests in most cases we need to send your iPhone to the Apple Repair Centre in Sydney. If this is the case it will normally be between 5 to 10 business days. 

How Much Will My Repair Cost?

iPhone within Warranty Coverage

If your iPhone issue is covered by warranty, AppleCare+, or consumer law and has no accidental damage or unauthorised modification there is no charge* for us to repair your iPhone.

iPhone with damaged display

If your iPhone's display Glass or LCD panel is smashed, cracked or damaged we may be able to replace the display for you.

iPhone with other damage

If your iPhone has damage other than the display or its outside it's warranty coverage it may be eligible for a whole unit exchange. Examples of other damage: Bent Enclosure, Cracked Rear Camera Lens, Liquid Damage.

iPhone with Battery issues

If your iPhone's battery is not lasting like it once did it may be time to replace the battery. Our Apple-Certified technicians can diagnose battery related issue and organise replacement of the battery in your iPhone. iPhone's still covered by warranty, AppleCare+, or consumer law may be eligible for a battery replacement at no change*.
